These tires were a result from the Buggy Party race we participated in at the same track in Pattaya Beach, Bangkok Dec of 2009, We came up with the dual step hexagon pins for maximum forward traction, best cornering speeds, and the most on-power steering possible.

Unlike other past tires, EXP Exagon incorporates "EXP Cavity" into the tire design. This give the tires wider and flatter treading on the terrain. They also incorporate the side wall beads for a quicker response. You can also trim these beads and the outer edge pins to control the side bite.

We also went to the RC Mania track located near Bangkok which is well known for their rough surface that shows no mercy for rubber tires.

We ran for 90 minutes and found our pattern remained in good condition unlike other brands. This surprised all of us as well as the other drivers who were at the track. Other tires have most of their patterns shredded by this time.

We pushed it even further by mounting the same set of tires to the EXP Factory Pilot Ryan Lee’s machine to participate in a control practice race. His times were better than that of other drivers with brand new tires.

At the Pre IFMAR race on Feb of 2010:  Dani Choi, who was running with another team’s tires along the first to fourth qualifying rounds gave the EXP Exagon tires a shot for his  most important 5th qualifying run. He set his fastest time that placed him 5th on the overall qualifying position. He became a fan of our EXP tires and decide to become a Factory Pilot from that moment on.

At the main event, Thailand’s local privateer Champ Khunthin decide to put his faith in our EXP tires. They brought him into fourth place. Here is the actual image of the Champ’s left front tire after the brutal 60 minute A-main race.
